The Third Trimester...

What is "Stewie" up to now?

  According to "thebump.com" he is approximately the size of a squash right now-between 15.2-16.7 inches long and 2.5-3.8lbs! This is relevant until his is 32 weeks (today being 29+4).

   It is a very big relief to be done with all of my "difficult" call nights-he has already spent approximately 30 nights in the hospital and appears to LOVE being on call. He is never as active as he is in the middle of the night while running around the intensive care unit (future M.D.?)! I am awaiting the results of my glucose tolerance test; hoping there is no gestational diabetes-I love chocolate too much! Otherwise, visiting the doctor every two weeks now instead of every four and looking forward to putting the weeks 20-29 behind me!

Introducing the Nugget!

In an attempt to keep our families and friends up to date while we are far away, the plan will be to update this blog with all the adventures that the Nugget will have as he grows. He made himself known on mother's day 2010; very apporpriate I would say! This is our first image of him at approx 5 weeks:
